Australia’s favourite punk rockers Amyl and the Sniffers are ending the year with a special gift for fans: a brand new concert film entitled Live at Ally Pally 2025.
As the name suggests, the flick was filmed at London’s historic Ally Pally on October 25 and is available to view on YouTube for free.
Shot by award-winning director John Angus Stewart, the almost 24-minute-long film captures all the intensity and chaos of Amyl and the Sniffers live as they perform tracks including ‘Jerkin’’, ‘Tiny Bikini’ and ‘Doing in Me Head’.
The concert film shows just why they are regarded as one of the world’s best live acts, with Clunk Magazine having this to say about the performance, “Amyl and The Sniffers completely owned the stage…and the crowd responded with blood, sweat and tears. Whether you call yourself a punk or not, it’s impossible not to get swept up in the cultural shift this group is cultivating. It’s something legends do and in 40 years time, I’m sure we’ll be talking about Amyl and The Sniffers.”
