Stand Atlantic Share New Single 'EDGE OF VEGAS'

The Aussie punk rockers are also hitting the road for a run of shows this October and November.

'EDGE OF VEGAS' is the third single taken from Stand Atlantic's upcoming fifth studio album, GODBREATH, out Friday 23 October via Virgin Music Group.

A spunky indie rock number with a wicked hook, 'EDGE OF VEGAS' showcases another side of Stand Atlantic, with GODBREATH shaping up as the band's most boundary-pushing effort yet.

"I went into this album knowing that I was happy and having a great time, so I was just going to lean into that instead of trying to manufacture some wounded feeling," says vocalist and songwriter Bonnie Fraser.

"At the same time, 'EDGE OF VEGAS' is totally unfiltered. It's as honest as we can be. As soon as we're genuine in what we're doing, we don't have to try too hard to do anything. It is always the best outcome every time."

GODBREATH comprises 11 tracks, including the singles 'LUCID', 'Velcro' and 'EDGE OF VEGAS', with Fraser having this to say about the record: "To me, GODBREATH means being the most authentic version of yourself. It's someone who will do whatever they need to do to get shit done. It's the consequence of those moments when you’re really leaning into what you do, and you feel on top of the world. When being that honest and open just creates this whole other thing within you. It’s about speaking and owning your truth."

Stand Atlantic are also embarking on a whirlwind national tour with support from American heavyweights Knuckle Puck this October and November.

"We're so excited to embark on our biggest tour to date in support of our new album GODBREATH," says Fraser. "It's come full circle being able to have our old tour buddies Knuckle Puck (US) come along for the ride!"

Stand Atlantic's GODBREATH tour begins in Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 23 October, followed by dates at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Saturday 24 October, Melbourne's The Forum on Wednesday 28 October, Adelaide's Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday 29 October and finally Perth's Metropolis on Sunday 1 November.
