The Milk Carton Kids Return To Australia March 2027

Celebrated LA folk duo The Milk Carton Kids return to Australia for a run of shows across March 2027.

Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan are touring their most recent album, Lost Cause Lover Fool, and, to coincide with their tour announcement, have shared the one-off single, 'Making A Fool Of Myself'.

"Surprise bonus track to celebrate the start of tour!" the lads said in a statement. "On Monday we'll release 'Making A Fool Of Myself', which includes an epochal milestone in TMCK history — the introduction of the dobro. In fact, the song emerged directly from Kenneth’s dobro ramblings, and will surely lead to the next great wave of discovery amongst burgeoning Gen Alpha folkies, who are already reporting that Kenneth’s dobro playing is actually kinda tough."

For BT at Love Police, the return of The Milk Carton Kids to Australian shores marks another chapter in a relationship that stretches back years, with the promoter having toured the duo in 2015 and 2023.

 "These two rascals have only been able to make it down here a couple of times over the years. Each time has been a rousing good time, making friends and delivering quality shows with virtuoso musicality and humour. Who would know you could have such deep moments in a show and laugh out loud as well."

The Milk Carton Kids tour kicks off in Melbourne on  Wednesday 3 March at Melbourne Recital Centre. The lads then play Meeniyan Town Hall in Meeniyan on Friday 5 March, followed by the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine on Saturday 6 March, Brisbane's Princess Theatre on Wednesday 10 March and Bangalow's A&I Hall on Thursday 11 March, bringing the tour to a close at City Recital Hall in Sydney on Friday 12 March.
