Ian Asher Plots 2027 Australian Tour

Emerging Californian DJ and producer Ian Asher makes his Australian debut in 2027.

Fast becoming one of the most popular DJs in the States, selling out shows at iconic venues such as New York's Brooklyn Paramount and San Francisco's The Midway, Asher broke through in 2023 with his remix of French artist Jain's track 'Makeba'.

"AUSTRALIA! I’m so excited to tell you that I’m coming down under!" Asher posted on social media. "This will be my first big tour in your country… hitting Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth & Adelaide babyyyy!"

Asher commences his first run of Aussie shows in Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall on Thursday 21 January. His whirlwind tour continues with sets at Melbourne's The Forum on Friday 22 January, the Ivy in Sydney on Saturday 23 January and Perth's Ice Cream Factory on Sunday 24 January, finishing up in Adelaide on Monday 25 January at Hindley Street Music Hall.

Since his official remix of Jain's 'Makeba' went viral, eclipsing 144 Spotify streams, Asher has gained more than 12 million Spotify listeners and seen his original singles 'Desire' and 'Black Out Days' both reach #8 on the Billboard Dance Charts.

Asher has also collaborated with chart-topping DJ Oliver Heldens on a rework of 'Mas Que Nada' and Filipino band SB-19 to produce the track 'Moonlight', the latter of which reached #1 on iTunes in over 23 countries.

But it's the live arena where Asher comes alive, with his Las Vegas Wynn Residency attracting huge crowds while his performances at EDC Mexico, MDLBEAST, Exit Festival, Ushuaïa Ibiza and Lollapalooza have been highly praised, making his debut Australian tour one not to miss.
