The Sunshine Coast folk duo is hitting the road in support of their upcoming sophomore album, The Art of Uncommon Practice.

Folk pop duo The Dreggs have announced the release of their sophomore album, The Art of Uncommon Practice.
If that’s not enough excitement for one day, good buddies Paddy Macrae and Zane Harris have also shared new single ‘Get Knocked Down’ and revealed they are embarking on a national tour in July.
The Art of Uncommon Practice is released independently on July 25 (pre-order here). The most recent single taken from the record, ‘Get Knocked Down’, was co-written and co-produced with acclaimed singer-songwriter Matt Corby and ARIA-winning producer Chris Collins.
“‘Get Knocked Down’ is all about the experiences of getting older,” Macrae shares. “Some embrace it with open arms, while others struggle with the concept of aging. It’s a song that touches on the internal conflict about the balance of feeling older while understanding that getting older doesn’t mean you are running out of time. It’s a song about reminding yourself that while reminiscing on past times may lead to feeling older, it’s also important to accept that there is still time to achieve your goals, whatever they may be.”
The Dreggs whirlwind four-date tour begins in Melbourne at Northcote Theatre on Friday, July 18 and continues with concerts at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Saturday, July 19, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, July 25, and Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Saturday, July 26.

Formed in 2017, The Dreggs have amassed a worldwide fanbase with their honest approach to folk pop. The lad’s debut album, Caught in a Reverie, dropped last year and was called “a celebration of dreamy melodics and lush instrumentals” by AAA Backstage.
The Dreggs have already begun 2025 with a bang, performing at Party in the Paddock and Yours and Owls, with headline shows locked in for the UK, Europe, Canada and the US later this year.
