Eight years since their last Australian tour, indie rock trio The Cribs make their long-awaited return this October
The UK outfit are celebreating the release of their ninth studio album, Selling A Vibe, which was co-produced with Patrick Wimberly (Chairlift, MGMT, Soko).
The album arrives after several tough years that saw the brothers, Gary, Ryan and Ross Jarman, separated across New York, Portland and Wakefield during the pandemic.
Punters heading along to see The Cribs can expect to hear tracks from their new record, along with fan favourites from across their celebrated catalogue.
The Cribs touch down in Melbourne for their first show at 170 Russell on Sunday 4 October. This is followed by gigs at The Factory Theatre in Sydney on Monday 5 October, Brisbane’s The Triffid on Tuesday 6 October and Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Thursday 8 October.

Formed by the Jarman brothers in 2001, The Cribs broke through six years later with their third long player, Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever.
A critical and commercial success, the album led to The Smiths’ Johnny Marr joining the band from 2008 to 2011 and playing on their fourth album, Ignore the Ignorant.
They’ve since gone on to release nine studio albums, won several awards and performed shows across the globe, with their upcoming tour one not to be missed.
