Psych-rockers The Brian Jonestown Massacre will be hoping their upcoming Australian tour fares better than their last trip to our shores.
Two years ago, the band’s tour fell apart during a show at Melbourne’s The Forum in 2023 when guitarist Ryan Van Kriedt (who has since left the group) got into a fist fight mid-set, with the show ending prematurely.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre took a year off after abandoning their tour and have only returned to the stage this year, with the Anton Newcombe-led collective heading back to Australia in March 2026 for a run of shows.
Their upcoming tour promises to be a return to form for BJM, with a set list highlighting fan favourites and deep album cuts.
The tour commences on Thursday 19 March at Enmore Theatre in Sydney and continues with dates at Newcastle’s King St Hotel (Friday 20 March), Brisbane’s Tivoli (Saturday 21 March), Adelaide’s The Gov (Sunday 22 March), Hobart’s Odeon Theatre (Thursday 26 March), Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre (Friday 27 March) and Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal (Sunday 29 March), before wrapping things up at Perth’s Magnet House on Tuesday 31 March.
The pre-sale kicks off on Wednesday 3 September at 11am AEST, with the general on-sale taking place on Thursday 4 September at 11am AEST. For full ticketing details, visit bjmtour.live.
