The Angels ‘Go For Broke’ with Upcoming National Tour
The rock and rollers are hitting the road for a run of dates this July and August.

After a run of shows across the nation in April in support of their most recent album, Ninety Nine, South Aussie greats The Angels are heading back on the road next month on their Go For Broke Australian tour.
The current lineup of The Angels comprises John Brewster, Rick Brewster, Sam Brewster, Tom Brewster and Nick Norton, who replaced longtime vocalist Dave Gleeson, who stepped away after 12 years in 2023.
The Angels’ Go For Broke begins with two shows in Victoria at Torquay Hotel in Torquay on Friday, July 4 and The Corner Hotel in Richmond on Saturday, July 5. The group then performs two shows in WA at Fremantle’s Freo Social on Friday, July 11 and Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Saturday, July 12, followed by two NSW gigs at Marrickville’s Factory Theatre on Friday, July 18 and Belmont’s Belmont 16’s on Saturday, July 19. The final three dates of the tour take place at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Friday, July 25 and Sandstone Point’s Sandstone Point Hotel on Saturday, July 26, before the final hometown show at Adelaide’s Bridgeway Hotel on Saturday, August 2.

It’s been a big couple of years for The Angels, with the band celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2024 and releasing their 14th album, Ninety Nine, also their first with Nick Norton.
“Last year was really special,” founding guitarist John Brewster says. “And that was down to all our fans who made the 50 Not Out tour one to remember. But I really feel this is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for The Angels.”
Fans of the band can expect to hear all The Angels’ biggest hits, including ‘Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again’, ‘No Secrets’, ‘Take A Long Line’, ‘Shadow Boxer’, ‘Marseilles’, ‘Comin’ Down’ and ‘We Gotta Get Out Of This Place’, along with new tracks and deep cuts.
