Blues in the Vines Returns to the Barossa in November
Enjoy top-shelf wines while being serenaded by Aussie blues greats at Tim Smith Wines.

After a hugely successful inaugural event last year, Blues in the Vines returns this November for another day of music, wine and good times.
Taking over Tim Smith Wines in Vine Vale on Sunday, November 23, Blues in the Vines is a one-day mini-festival merging Australia’s best blues artists with top-notch vino.
Slide guitarist and vocalist Dave Hole headlines this year’s festivities alongside his rocking band. Combining classic rock and roll with traditional blues, Hole broke through in 1990 with his debut album, Short Fuse Blues. The record garnered critical acclaim and led to Hole signing with US-based label Alligator Records, making him the first non-American artist to do so in 26 years.
Hole has gone on to release more than ten albums, with his 1999 record Under the Spell winning the ARIA Award for Best Blues & Roots Album. Finding even more success as a touring muso, Hole performs regularly across the US, Europe and Australia, and his top billing at this year’s Blues in the Vines is exciting news for music lovers.
Also taking to the stage throughout the day are globetrotting bluesman Frank Sultana and multi-award-winning lively locals The Honey Badgers.

Along with an exceptional lineup of talented blues musicians, Tim Smith Wines will have its core range available to taste.
Established in 2001, Tim Smith released its first vintage a year later to much acclaim. Having worked for some of the most well-known winemakers in the Barossa Valley, along with numerous overseas vintages in France, Portugal, and New Zealand, Smith is well respected in the wine game, and if anyone has tasted his vino, you’ll understand why. Delicious!
Whether you prefer a red or a white, you’ll find a drop to tantalise your tastebuds at Blues in the Vines, with a great selection of beers on offer for those needing a palate cleanser.
