Aussie hip hop continues to dominate, with one of Sydney’s most exciting groups, The 046, announcing a massive national tour next year.
The trio of brothers Kymza and Ronza and good pal Jizza have just dropped their latest album, Legacy In Motion. Containing 16 tracks of hard-hitting beats and lyrical darts, the record features guest spots from the likes of Barkaa, True God, JKING and Nyxladd.
Commenting about the album on their social media accounts, the group wrote, “We put every ounce of ourselves into this project. This one’s not just music, it’s our story, our city, our bloodline carried forward. From the first bar to the last beat, this album is about cementing OUR LEGACY and keeping it in motion forever.”
With the album now out in the world, the lads have announced a 13-date Australian tour in support of Legacy In Motion, beginning at Canberra’s Fiction on Saturday 7 February.
The 046 then have shows at Melbourne’s The Night Cap on Friday 13 February, Shepparton’s The Deck on Saturday 14 February, Newcastle’s King St Bandroom on Friday 20 February, Wollongong’s Unibar on Saturday 21 February, Brisbane’s Brightside on Friday 27 February, Maroochydore’s Solbar on Saturday 28 February, Townsville’s Dalrymple Hotel on Friday 6 March and Cairns Edge Hill Tavern on Saturday 7 March.

Coming out of Sydney’s public housing suburb of Claymore, The 046 grew up on a diet of West Coast rap, listening to the likes of Warren G, Nate Dogg, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt and Tupac.
Credited with pioneering “Aus Funk”, The 046 are fully independent, releasing music through their own label 046 Records.
Through hard work and persistence, The 046 have garnered millions of streams worldwide, had their music perform well on the ARIA Charts and even reached #1 on the New Zealand Charts.
Legacy In Motion is undoubtedly their best release yet, and The 046 can’t wait to perform tracks from the album live when they hit the road next year.
