Like so many Aussie bands from the golden era of the late ‘90s alternative scene, the demand for nostalgia in these trying times has seen Regurgitator become live favourites, with the band seemingly touring non-stop these days.

For more than three decades, the trio have been releasing experimental albums that have connected with local audiences, from their alternative rock debut Tu-Plang and ‘80s synth hit follow-up Unit, to last year’s self-produced Invader, which found the ‘Gurge collaborating with Indigenous rapper JK-47 and Canadian electro-trash icon Peaches.

There’s not much the seven-time ARIA Award winners haven’t done, with their upcoming 2026 tour a wonderful way to celebrate the band’s incredible catalogue of hits.
