Port Fairy Folk Festival Adds More Names To 2027 Lineup
New artists include Alice Howe & Frebo, The Waifs, Detta Kenzie and more.

Turning 50 next year, Port Fairy’s beloved Port Fairy Folk Festival is going all out, revealing more artists that will play at next year's festival.
One of the country’s longest-running festivals takes place over the 2027 Labour Day long weekend in Port Fairy on the coast of South West Victoria from Friday 5 to Monday 8 March.
The new names added to next year's lineup include Alice Howe & Frebo, The Waifs, Detta Kenzie, Ukulele Death Squad and more.
They join an already impressive bill featuring the likes of Sixpence None The Richer, Grace Petrie, Alosa, The Burning Hell, Tim Easton, Mia Dyson, We Mavericks and John Butler.
On announcing the first thirty-eight artists coming to Port Fairy in March, Port Fairy Folk Festival Program Director Justin Rudge said, "The Port Fairy community is working hard to put together an amazing event to honour this magnificent milestone, as well as set us on our path for the next fifty festivals.
"Additions to the lineup include previous Artists of the Year, festival favourites new and old, and performers travelling to our seaside town from all over the world. As we enter our final ticketing tier, we encourage all Folkies – whether regular goers or those considering their first visit – to make sure they secure a ticket to what will be a very special moment in Australian music history."
Tickets are on sale now via portfairyfolkfestival.com.

With more artists still to be revealed, the 50th Port Fairy Folk Festival is shaping up to be one of the biggest and most memorable celebrations in the Festival’s history.
Port Fairy Folk Festival Committee President Bruce Leishman said, "For more than thirty years I have been involved in the Folkie and during this time I have seen the Festival grow from a little gig on the back of a big red truck in the Botanic Gardens to a large-scale celebration that draws music fans and artists from all over the world. Fifty years is such a feat for our seaside village and we are proud to be a part of this community-led event. We thank our supporters, friends and family and most of all the Port Fairy community for getting behind this great event for fifty years!"
