Melbourne’s Telenova keep on producing the goods, with latest single ‘Vapor // Slow Dance’ a jazz-inspired trip through atmospheric riffs and sultry vocals.
The song is accompanied by a music video with cinematography by Michael Ridley and Christy Chudosnik that captures the band performing ‘Vapor // Slow Dance’ at an intimate gig at Melbourne’s iconic The Nightcat this past August.
Taken from the trio’s upcoming sophomore album, The Warning, the track follows the album’s lead single ‘The Deep’, which arrived last month.
The Warning is out February 27 2026, via EMI Music Australia (pre-order/pre-save here) and features ten tracks, with frontwoman Angeline Armstrong having this to say about the release, “This record is the closest we've come to showing what's really happening beneath the surface. There's faith, fear, anxiety and awe - all at once.”
Edward Quinn sees the album's core as “accepting imperfection - pushing through insecurity and still creating something that feels alive.”
For Joshua Moriarty, The Warning was a reckoning: “Either you confront what's broken, or you disappear into it. This record was us choosing to confront it.”
