Talib Kweli Returns To Australia In November

Wordsmith Talib Kewli makes his Australian return this November for an unmissable run of headline shows.

The Brooklyn MC, who was last in the country in 2025 performing alongside The Roots and as part of his visionary Black Star project with fellow spitter Yasin Bey (formerly Mos Def).

The tour kicks off in Melbourne at Max Watts on Thursday 5 November, followed by shows at Brisbane's Crowbar on Friday 6 November, Perth's Freo Social on Saturday 7 November and Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on Sunday 8 November.

Pre-sales commence 10am AEST Wednesday 12th August, with the general on-sale taking place 10am AEST Thursday 13th August. Ticketing information is available at teamwrktouring.com.

For more than 20 years, Talib Kweli has been a mainstay of the hip hop community. Known for his conscious raps, Kweli has accumulated over 780 million streams, released eight solo albums and collaborated with the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell and J Dilla.

Black Star, his project with Yasiin Bey, is one of hop hop's most highly regarded duos, with their debut album, Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star, considered a classic of the genre.

An energetic live performer, Kweli's Australian return this November is set to be the perfect primer for a memorable summer ahead.
