After being forced to cancel last year’s event, the organisers behind multi-city festival Spilt Milk have confirmed its return in 2025.
Spilt Milk’s highly anticipated comeback hits four cities this December, kicking things off at Victoria Park in Ballarat/Wadawurrung on Saturday, December 6. The festival then heads west, setting up shop at Claremont Showgrounds in Perth/Whadjuk on Sunday, December 7. Spilt Milk then winds its way across the Red Centre and lands at Canberra/Ngunnawal’s Exhibition Park on Saturday, December 13, with the final leg taking place at Gold Coast Sports Precinct on the Gold Coast/Kombumerri on Sunday, December 14.
While the lineup is yet to be announced, previous editions have boasted the likes of Post Malone, Lorde, FISHER, Dom Dolla and Flume, with expectations high that this year’s bill will be the best yet.
While music is the major attraction, there’s much more to Spilt Milk, with the festival offering immersive activations, curated art exhibitions and open studio sessions for artists to explore a variety of visual art mediums.

First held in Canberra in 2016 with a lineup featuring American hip hop star Vince Staples, Sydney indie rockers DMA’s and electro fav Flume, Spilt Milk was a massive success, selling out within hours and demonstrating the passion of music lovers from the ACT.
The festival expanded to Ballarat in 2019 before being forced into hibernation during the COVID-19 pandemic. It returned in 2022 with a Gold Coast leg before adding a Perth date in 2023.
Sadly, the festival was forced to cancel its 2024 event, but the good news is the award-winning Spilt Milk is returning this year and everyone should grab a ticket to make sure it continues to return year in, year out.
