As they prepare for the release of their sophomore album RUN IT BACK, out Friday 12 June, South Summit have shared the album’s fourth single, ‘HEARTLESS’.
The indie influenced groover about heartbreak has an upbeat dance beat and is accompanied by a music video directed by Brendan Cecich that shows the lads atop Western Australia’s iconic Bluff Knoll.
“We went down south and recorded this one at our mate’s massive property,” says vocalist Zaya Reuben. “This was our first session where we officially started the album. It’s a real heartbreak story about a past relationship. It’s about heartbreak, but it’s uplifting at the same time – it flips that feeling so people can feel a bit better about themselves.”
RUN IT BACK is 12 tracks of indie rock earcandy and features the previously released singles ‘TOP OF THE HILL’, ‘WE ARE’ and ‘ON THE DASH’, along with ‘HEARTLESS’.
