Touted by the Courier Mail as “Byron Bay's next big thing”, singer-songwriter Sam Buckingham is hitting the road for an extensive run of shows in support of her powerful new album Beautiful Machine.
Debuting at #4 on the ARIA Australian Album Charts, #3 on the Australian Physical Charts, #9 on the overall ARIA Physical Charts and #35 on the ARIA Top 50 Album Charts, Beautiful Machine is a complex yet enlightening body of work.
Buckingham wrote the album as a “love letter to herself, her body, the Earth and all of humanity,” and is excited to share these songs live, performing an intimate acoustic set before following up with a set featuring Ableton Push and live vocal looping.
The tour, which began in March, continues this month on Thursday 9 April at Tibbi Wallan Hall in Katoomba, continuing with shows in Exeter, Canberra, Dungog, Branxton, Merrijig, Arthur’s Creek, Geelong, Rye, Fitzroy and Anglesea, before Buckingham makes her way to South Australia for four shows at The Wheatsheaf on Wednesday 13 May, McLaren Vale Instititue Hall on Thursday 14 May, Mount Barker Town Hall on Friday 15 May and Angaston Town Hall on Saturday 16 May.
Buckingham then heads to Western Australia for gigs in Perth and Fremantle, before wrapping the tour in New Zealand with concerts at Hamilton and Auckland’s The Tuning Fork on Saturday 30 May.
