Ruger Announces Australian Tour 2026
The tour includes a last-minute addition, with Ruger now performing in Adelaide.
Nigerian singer-songwriter Ruger returns to Australia in March for a run of five shows across the country.
The Afrobeats and dancehall artist known for his infectious hits ‘Dior’, ‘Asiwaju’ and ‘Bounce’, will be joined by host Kily Safari at all shows bar Adelaide, where he will be accompanied by Dshoww, Hype Man Cee Jay and Hypeofbigmac.
Ruger’s Australian tour begins in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre on Friday 20 March, followed by concerts at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Saturday 21 March, Perth’s Metro City on Friday 27 March, Adelaide’s The Ballroom on Saturday 28 March and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Sunday 29 March.

Discovered by Grammy-nominated D'Prince, Ruger’s first official release garnered over seventy million views in three days. His debut EP, Pandemic, released in 2001, contained the viral smash hit ‘Bounce’, with the song coming in at #2 on the Apple Music top Afrobeats songs of 2021.
He followed up with his second EP, The Second Wave, before dropping his debut album, Ru the World, in 2023. The record was critically praised and landed at #9 on the Nigerian Official Top 100 Albums Chart.
Starting his own label, Blown Boy Entertainment, in 2024, Ruger’s most recent release was last year’s BlownBoy RU.
