Rockabilly ruffians, the Reverend Horton Heat return to Australia this November for a five-date tour of high voltage riffage.
Channelling ‘50s era guitar music, the trio of rock & roll shaman Jim Heath, longtime double bass punisher Jimbo Wallace and pummeling drummer Jonathan Jeter bring their unique blend of classic American rock, country and blues to Aussie fans for what promises to be an unforgettable run of shows.
Joining the Reverend on selected Australian shows will be legendary Australian punks The Johnnys, while Melbourne will feature Ezra Lee & Jumpin' Jethro, Brisbane gets The Linelockers and Lori Lee and Adelaide can experience The Saucermen, with more acts to be announced.
Reverend Horton Heat’s visit begins in Brisbane at Crowbar on Wednesday 11 November. Dates follow at Adelaide’s The Gov on Thursday 12 November, Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Friday 13 November, Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on Saturday 14 November and Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal on Sunday 15 November.

After several years playing in various bands in Texas during the early ‘80s, Jim Heath formed Reverend Horton Heath in 1985 and hasn’t looked back.
Joined by good friend and double bassist Jimbo Wallace and a revolving door of drummers, Heath and co broke through in 1996 with the release of It’s Martini Time, Reverend Horton Heath’s fourth studio album.
The group have gone on to release 13 studio albums and had several songs feature in major video game franchises, including Call of Duty, Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.
