Returning home from a run of shows across the UK and Ireland, Naarm/Melbourne-based post-punkers Radio Free Alice have dropped surprise new single, ‘Rule 31’.
Written and recorded during their North American tour in Connecticut, when the lads had a few days off, ‘Rule 31’.
Produced with Peter Kapis (Interpol, The National), there’s a real urgency to the track, with the moody vocals and driving rhythm pushing ‘Rule 31’ towards its spiralling climax.
“Rule 31 came about during a soundcheck whilst on tour,” explains frontman Noah Learmouth. “The bassline came first and we just built it up from there. We recorded it at Peter’s beautiful house-studio in Connecticut when we had a couple days off from shows.”
