Sydney garage rockers Polish Club have been very busy boys. After the release of their 2024 fifth studio album, Heavy Weight Heart, the duo of vocalist and guitarist David Novak and drummer John-Henry Pajak have wasted no time getting back into the studio and recording their sixth long player, Pound Cake.
Arriving May 23 via the band’s Polish Club Music (pre-order here), Pound Cake was produced by long-time collaborator Wade Keighran at Sydney studio The Confectionery.
Having already released singles ‘Take It’ and ‘S.N.A.F.U.’ earlier this year, Polish Club collaborated with ARIA Award-winning rapper Dobby for their latest single, ‘Something On the Side’.
To coincide with the release of ‘Something On the Side’, Polish Club have revealed they are hitting the road for four dates in June. The two will perform at The Tote in Melbourne on Friday, June 20, Crown & Anchor in Adelaide on Saturday, June 21, Trocadero Room in Sydney on Friday, June 27 and Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane on Saturday, June 28.
Tickets for all four gigs are on sale now via polishclub.co.
