Aussie metalcore icons Parkway Drive look set to bring their hyped festival Park Waves to Australia for the very first time.
The band took to social media to tease the festival with a short video telling fans to “get ready for the next wave.” There’s no information about the lineup or dates, with Parkway Drive urging fans to sign up for the festival’s mailing list at parkwavesfestival.com for updates.
Park Waves made its debut last year in Germany, with Parkway Drive curating the lineup. The festival was headlined by the band themselves and featured rocking sets from Dying Fetus, Fit For A King, Erra, and Aussie acts Thy Art Is Murder and Alpha Wolf.
Australian touring promoters Destroy All Lines, who are responsible for Good Things Festival, Knotfest, Hellfest cruise and countless incredible tours, are also involved, so you know it’s going to be an awesome lineup when revealed.

The news of Park Waves making its Aussie debut comes after a huge six months for Parkway, having recently performed a sold-out concert at the Sydney Opera House alongside a symphony orchestra, a culmination of their 20 year anniversary Australian tour.
The band are then off to the States, where they will co-headline the Summer of Loud 2025 tour, playing some of their biggest-ever American shows alongside Beartooth, I Prevail, and Killswitch Engage.
The year comes to an end with arena shows across Europe and the UK with support from fellow Aussies Thy Art Is Murder and deathcore beasts The Amity Affliction.
Oh yeah, and then there’s next year’s Hellbound cruise, Australia’s first heavy metal festival on the high seas, headlined by Parkway and featuring a lineup comprising Polaris, Northlane, The Butterfly Effect and more.
