It’s all happening in the world of Indie rockers Pacific Avenue. Not only are the NSW lads gearing up for the release of their sophomore album Lovesick Sentimental, which arrives March 6 next year (pre-order here), but they’ve also revealed a run of Aussie tour dates and shared new single ‘Here We Go Again’.
Following on from the previously released ‘Working Class Hero’, Pacific Avenue’s latest single is another emotion-filled guitar-led chest burster that’s sure to have their fans swaying along blissfully.
“The new single ‘Here We Go Again’ is a song about holding onto love, through the good times and the hard throughout a relationship, it’s finding the small things that make you continue to fall for that person,” explains guitarist and vocalist Harry O’Brien. “The song reads like a first-person recount; however, moments of the lyrics are meant to shift perspectives, ‘I almost forgot what you did’ is meant to be aimed back towards me, in times when I was hard to love.”
Keen to perform their new album for fans, Pacific Avenue are hitting the road next year, commencing with a show at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Friday 6 March. Dates follow at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall (Saturday 7 March), Melbourne’s The Forum (Friday 13 March), Hobart’s Odeon Theatre (Saturday 14 March), Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall (Friday 20 March) and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday 21 March.
