It’s less than four weeks before One Night Stand hits Busselton in WA’s south west, and the lineup just got even bigger with the addition of homegrown talent Fool Nelson.
The winners of triple j’s ONS Unearthed Competition, the surf rock trio join the likes of band of the moment Spacey Jane, electronic powerhouse LUUDE, singer-songwriter Ruby Fields and ARIA-winning First Nations hip hop collective 3%.
Held in the small town of Busselton on Saturday, May 24, One Night Stand 2025 also includes pop trio Blusher and Sydney psychedelic act Velvet Trip.
As with previous ONS events, tickets were snapped up in record time, with locals preparing for what is shaping up as an incredible night of live music.

Picked as Ones to Watch by triple j, Fool Nelson have kicked off 2025 with hazy new single ‘Bad Dreams’.
“‘Bad Dreams’ is a song about the ebbs and flows of mental health and how anxiety can really cloud your perspective and stop you from seeing the good things in life,” the band said in a statement.
“It’s a reflection on times when everything seems like it’s gone to crap, but also a reminder to step back and appreciate the good things that help get you through those hard times. It’s got a sort of cathartic feeling and an optimism that we hope acts as a bit of a reminder that it’ll all be alright.”
Fool Nelson have also been picked as support for Skegss’ upcoming national tour and are looking forward to playing One Night Stand in May.
