Australia’s newest EDM fest takes over Sydney and Melbourne across one weekend in November.

The masterminds behind some of Australia’s biggest dance music festivals have revealed a new EDM extravaganza, Hypersonic, headlined by legendary Dutch producer and DJ Armin Van Buuren.
The new music event takes place at Sydney Showgrounds on Saturday 29 November and Melbourne Showgrounds on Sunday 30 November and features a massive lineup of EDM talent.
Hosted by MC Stretch, the lineup also includes cake thrower Steve Aoki, Norwegian duo KREAM, Swedish House Mafia’s Alesso, Scottish DJ and producer David Rust and many more.
Those keen on securing tickets early can pre-purchase them up until 11:59pm AEST Wednesday 20 August for $175 + fees, or sign up for the official pre-sale that kicks off at 12pm AEST on Thursday 21 August, with those tickets selling for $169.95 + fees.

Hypersonic is the brainchild of leading trance company Symbiotic’s CEO Richie McNeill and fellow director Janette Bishara.
They both have a long history in the Australian electronic music scene, with McNeill having DJ’d across the globe, founded Hardware and co-founded Stereosonic and Bishara having been involved with high-profile events, including A State Of Trance and Above and Beyond Acoustic at Sydney Opera House.
Hypersonic 2025 takes place at Sydney Showgrounds on Saturday 29 November and Melbourne Showgrounds on Sunday 30 November. For ticketing details, visit symbiotic.net.au.
