‘talk soon’ follows hot on the heels of Nat Luna’s impressive debut EP, ultraviolet.

Fresh from the success of her debut EP ultraviolet, rising pop superstar Nat Luna has shared flirty new single, ‘talk soon’.
A slinky, soulful groover with hints of early ‘90s R&B, ‘talk soon’ continues Luna’s evolution as a songwriter and sees her embracing her sensual side as she swoons after her latest crush.
“Whisper to my body, make me /start speaking in tongues, drive me crazy,” Luna purrs on the chorus, making it clear how she feels about her current squeeze.
“I had so much fun making talk soon,” Luna shares. “I wrote it about all the thoughts and feelings I was experiencing with the rush of a new crush. It’s heavy on the yearning energy and it’s so sexy. It explores those desires that creep up on us when we start catching feelings, and the anticipation and fantasising that comes with that.
“I love 90s R&B so, so much, and this song was hugely influenced by that vibe. I wanted it to feel modern yet touch on my favourite parts of that era of R&B.”
‘talk soon’ builds on ultraviolet and is the type of late-night jam we all need in our lives.

Drawing comparison with the likes of Ariana Grande, SZA and Kehlani, Luna is striking out on her own with a sultry sound that’s part future club and part neo-soul filtered through the lens of throwback R&B vibes.
Luna’s breakthrough debut EP ultraviolet saw her grab a spot as a triple j Unearthed Feature Artist, garner over 100,000 streams within the first week of release and feature on editorial playlists on Spotify and Apple Music.
Having performed at WOMADelaide 2023, where she was part of a lineup that included Florence + the Machine, Bon Iver and AURORA, Luna continues to smash goals and break barriers with her empowering releases, with more new music from the inspiring creative on the horizon.
