MusicSA is proud to announce three new appointments to its Board – Isobella Caruso, Leko Novakovic and Kate Russo. The three new faces are set to bring their expertise, enthusiasm and passion for all things South Australian music-related to the organisation’s growth and sector advocacy.

Known affectionately as “Bel” across the industry, Isobella Caruso is the founder of creative agency RebelYell. An award-winning music and events publicist, she brings two decades of hands-on experience across national tours, festivals, artist campaigns and venue promotion to her new role on the board.

Leko Novakovic is the Managing Director of the leading event hire and production company, Novatech. With over 28 years of experience in the live production industry, his leadership and innovation have been responsible for some of Australia’s most memorable events and live music experiences.

Last but not least is Kate Russ, the General Manager of Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium. A passionate advocate of the SA music scene, she has over 16 years of valuable experience in the venue and event space and has been a key figure in bringing music back to The Drive in 2024.

“I am honoured to join the MusicSA Board and look forward to collaborating with and learning from music industry professionals and colleagues. I hope to contribute a unique perspective through my experience and support the continued growth and vibrancy of our music community,” said Kate Russo

Chair of the MusicSA Board, John Glenn, welcomed the three new appointments: “We have always been blessed with the commitment and industry experience of Music SA Board Members and as Chair, I welcome  Kate Russo, Leko Novakovic and Bel Caruso, who will undoubtedly extend the Board’s knowledge and contacts at an incredibly important time in the continued growth of our organisation.

“As we look ahead to delivering the 2026 Regional and Remote Music Summit in Mount Gambier, a new Strategic Plan and all of our many other events and industry development support to our vibrant industry, the future looks very bright indeed”

These new appointments join existing board members John Glenn (Chair), Tim Haslam (Treasurer), Angus Crawford (Secretary) and Emily Drewniak (Board Director).
