Metallica Reissuing ‘Load’ with 245 Unreleased Tracks
The remastered box set contains a total of 301 songs, 245 of which have never been released.

Ahead of their upcoming Australian tour, Metallica are reissuing their hit ‘90s album Load with a bunch of unreleased tracks. 245 to be precise.
Originally released in 1996, Load was produced by Bob Rock and the follow-up to Metallica’s best-selling self-titled album. This remastered edition of the record includes fan favourites ‘Until It Sleeps’, ‘Hero of the Day’ and ‘King Nothing’, along with the original extended version of ‘The Outlaw Torn’.
The complete box set is an absolute monster containing a total of 301 tracks, 245 of which have never been released. Diehard fans will be treated to a 180-gram double LP of Load, a ‘Mama Said’ picture disc and three live LPs capturing the band’s Lollapalooza ‘96 performance.
There’s also 15 CDs stacked with demos, outtakes, rarities, alternate takes, a 128-page hardcover book with never-before-seen photos and four DVDs featuring unreleased footage. For the full tracklist, hit this link and check out what comes with Load (Remastered) below.

Currently on tour across North America, the hitmakers behind iconic thrash metal albums Masters of Puppets and …And Justice for All bring their impressive live show to Australian shores in November. These concerts will be James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich and Robert Trujillo’s first Australian gigs since 2013 when Metallica was part of the Soundwave Festival lineup.
