Ahead of the release of her upcoming new album, Our Eternal Garden, folk-psych artist Melody Pool is embarking on a world tour across the UK, Germany and Australia.
Arriving Friday 31 July, Our Eternal Garden (pre-order here) is Melody Pool’s first album since 2016’s Deep Dark Savage Heart and has been described as “a transmission… something ancient passing through modern hands.”
Beginning with shows in the UK and Germany across August and September, Melody Pool returns home in October for a run of gigs that begins at Dashville Skyline in Lower Belford on Saturday 4 October. Melody Pool rounds out the month with shows at The Cordial Factory in Grenfell (Saturday 18 October), The Vanguard in Sydney (Monday 20 October), Trinity Sessions in Adelaide on Thursday 24 October and Brunswick Bandroom in Melbourne (Sunday 26 October).
Returning to the road in November for the final run of concerts, Melody Pool performs two gigs in Fremantle at Moore & Moore Songwriters Café in Fremantle (Wednesday 5 November) and Mojos (Thursday 6 November). Then it’s on to Blues at Bridgetown in Bridgetown (Friday 7 to Sunday 9 November), Lyrics Underground in Perth (Wednesday 12 November) and Hamilton Station Hotel in Newcastle on Friday 14 November.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via melodypool.com.au.

Releasing her debut album, The Hurting Scene, in 2013, Melody Pool followed up three years later with the critically acclaimed Our Eternal Garden.
Double J called the album “a raw and real record from a woman who's learning a lot about herself and embracing her developing talent at the same time. And all that darkness makes it the perfect record to get you through winter.”
With the world at her feet, Melody Pool took a break from music to focus on her mental health. Now, almost a decade later, she returns with new music exploring her battles and the resilience and empowerment that comes from within.
