Last week The Bronx were announced as one of the international acts on the bill of South Australian festival Nice Day To Go To The Club, and this week they have revealed a fully fledged Australian tour.
The Super Show! Band on Band Action! Tour will see The Bronx and their alter ego, Mariachi El Bronx, dual headlining gigs in Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane.
Speaking on the tour, the band said: “Australia! These days, one band is never enough—good thing we have two! Join us for the first-ever Bronx and Mariachi El Bronx Supershow! Two bands, one mind-exploding, style-bending, life-affirming set. Top tracks and deep cuts from both bands, plus new smash hits reimagined and performed by a 9-piece band! Rock ’n’ roll has never sounded so good!”
The Super Show! Band on Band Action! Tour kicks off in Melbourne at The Forum on Tuesday 3 March. The two bands then play King Street in Newcastle on Thursday 5 March, Sydney’s Roundhouse on Friday 6 March, and Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Saturday 7 March.

Not only are Maricachi El Bronx touring the country, but the LA outfit have released new single ‘Forgive or Forget’, which is taken from their forthcoming record Mariachi El Bronx IV, set for release on Friday 13 February.
The band’s first release in a decade, Mariachi El Bronx described ‘Forgive or Forget’ as a song about someone “who’s completely dishevelled and a little washed out, looking back on their life in a way that’s kind of hazy. There’s a little bit of hope there, but it’s pretty dark.”
The song features Ray Suen on violin and is accompanied by a music video directed by Dean Williams.
