Grammy award-winning alt-rock greats Deftones have announced their first Australian and New Zealand headline tour in almost a decade.
The tour arrives in support of Deftones’ much lauded tenth studio album, Private Music. Released in August to widespread acclaim, the record features the singles ‘My Mind Is a Mountain’ and ‘Milk of the Madonna’ and was called “another career high from rock’s most reliable band” in NME’s five-star review.
Heading out way in May 2026, Deftones have revealed New York indie vets Interpol and Australia’s own Ecca Vandal have been enlisted as support.
Sadly, Deftones won’t be heading to Adelaide, with fans needing to travel interstate to catch them live, with the tour beginning in Sydney with two massive concerts at Qudos Bank Arena on Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May.
The tour then moves to Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 6 May 2026, followed by two gigs at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 9 May and Sunday 10 May. The final date on the tour takes place in New Zealand at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Wednesday 13 May 2026.
