San Cisco Return With New Single 'Miles Away'

After announcing a run of tour dates earlier this month, indie outfit San Cisco have shared a new song, 'Miles Away', the band's first single since the release of their 2024 album, Under The Light.

It's a fun, upbeat indie bopper fans of the trio are sure to get a kick out of, with lead singer Jordi Davieson saying of the single: "'Miles Away' is a song about being together, but alone, loving someone deeply while feeling them retreat somewhere you cannot follow. But don't worry - it's all wrapped up in a sugary pop song so it's easy to swallow!"

The track is accompanied by a music video shot on 16mm film by filmmaker Levi Cranston that features live performance and behind-the-scenes footage of the band set up in the midst of an immersive art installation in Perth’s CBD.

'Miles Away' arrives ahead of San Cisco's Miles Away Regional Tour Part 1, which is the first show from Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens, who's back behind the drums as a new mum, in two years.

On hitting the road, the band says: "We are so ready to get out on the road and visit some of our fave regional towns on the East Coast! We've got a small selection of fresh tracks to throw in the mix, including our new single 'Miles Away'! We can't wait to have a singalong and dance with you all! Let's party! We've missed you all dearly."

San Cisco begin their regional run of dates on Wednesday 18 November at the Leichhardt Hotel in Rockhampton, followed by shows at Mackay's McGuires on Thursday 19 November, Townsville's The Warehouse on Friday 20 November and Cairns' The Jack on Saturday 21 November. The. trio then hit King St Bandroom in Newcastle on Thursday 26 November and Wollongong's UOW Uni Bar on Friday 27 November, wrapping things up in Canberra on Saturday 28 November at UC Hub.
