After a manufactured beef played out over social media this week, Lime Cordiale and Ball Park Music have put their differences aside and announced they are going on tour together.
The ‘Enough Of The Sweet Talk’ tour takes in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane before the two acts cross the Tasman for four shows in New Zealand.
“We’ve been spending so much time overseas,” Lime Cordiale said in a press statement. “It’s so exciting to come home for our biggest shows yet. We’re putting a lot into making the production and stage set super exciting but as always, we want to make this feel like an intimate 100-capacity party.”
Speaking about their good friends, Lime Cordiale added: “Ball Park Music are debatably the best band in the country. They’ve been an inspiration to us since we first met ten years ago. We can’t believe it’s taken this long to tour together.
Ball Park Music is just as excited to tour with Lime Cordiale, who released their own statement: “We’ve wanted to go on tour with the Lime legends for years but it’s always been a pipe dream… until now! Can’t wait to share the stage and put on incredible concerts together.”
Frontier Members’ pre-sale begins on Tuesday, June 4 at 12:30pm local time. General public tickets will be available on Thursday, June 6 at 12:30 pm local time via Frontier Touring.
Wanting to do their bit for climate change, Lime Cordiale has teamed with FEAT.Live and will donate $1 from every ticket sold to the organisation to help with their solar slice initiative.
The tour comes as Lime Cordiale prepares to release their yet-to-be-titled third album, set for release later this year. So far fans have been treated to a slew of singles, including their most recent tune, ‘The Big Reveal; Ou L’Hypocrite’, which you can listen to above.
On the Ball Park Music front things have been pretty quiet since the release of 2022s Weirder & Weirder. This tour is a great chance for fans to see them live alongside the Leimbach brothers this October.
