UK crooner Lewis Capaldi returned earlier this year after a two-year break to triumphant scenes at Glastonbury Festival. His since gone on to release three new singles, ‘Survive’, ‘Something in Heavens’ and ‘Almost’, with all three taken from Capaldi’s upcoming new EP, Survive, out Friday 14 November.
Capaldi’s comeback has coincided with a run of world tour dates, including shows in Australia and New Zealand this November and December.
Having completely sold out all 11 dates of his Australasia tour, his first shows since Falls Festival in 2019/20 and his Auckland Town Hall performance in 2019, Capaldi has announced the artists who will be supporting him on tour.
Capaldi’s good mate, Irish-born Aaron Rowe, will perform at all shows on the tour. Just a year ago he was performing his weekly covers gig at The Dame Tavern, and now he’s touring the globe and performing original tracks from his debut EP, Exodus.
Also performing alongside Capaldi on his Australian run of shows will be Central Coast indie-pop force Fletcher Kent. The young and emerging singer-songwriter has released several notable singles and is making a name for himself as one to watch.
Kiwi fans will be treated to the dulcet tones of soulful pop rising star Jude Kelly. Inspired by the likes of Lana Del Rey, Maggie Rogers and HAIM, Kelly shared her debut EP, The Seven Spirits of Her, earlier this year and has received praise from the likes of Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Rolling Stone.
Capaldi’s Australasian tour kicks off with two shows in New Zealand in November before nine concerts across Australia in December.

Since his return to the stage, Capaldi’s received a ton of support from his fellow musos and fans. His upcoming Survive EP follows his first two albums, which were both massive hits.
Capaldi’s 2019 multimillion-selling debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent peaked at #1 on the UK Album Chart, produced the hit single ‘Someone You Loved’ and became the biggest-selling UK album of 2019 and 2020.
He followed up in 2023 with his second UK #1 album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, which contained the huge hits ‘Pointless’, ‘Wish You the Best’ and ‘Forget Me’.
That year also saw the release of the Netflix doco ‘Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now’ that explored Capaldi’s battle with mental health and his Tourette syndrome diagnosis.
Taking time away from music for several years, Capaldi is refreshed and ready to get back on stage and share his music with the world.
