LADYHAWKE ANNOUNCES 15TH ANNIVERSARY AUSTRALIAN ALBUM TOUR
The Kiwi singer-songwriter will be playing all the hits from her self-titled debut album.

Album anniversary tours are all the rage these days, and the latest artist to jump on the nostalgia train is New Zealand singer-songwriter Ladyhawke.
The indie electro artist will return to Australia this year for five shows celebrating the 15th anniversary of her self-titled debut album.
Kicking off in Adelaide at The Gov on Friday, July 26, the tour then hits Freo Social in Fremantle on Saturday, July 27, Princess Theatre in Brisbane on Thursday, August 1, Metro Theatre in Sydney on Friday, August 2, and finally Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday, August 3.
Ladyhawke, aka Pip Brown, first found success in her home country as part of the Wellington band Two Lane Blacktop. She moved to Sydney in 2004 and formed Teenager with PANU and Empire of the Sun mastermind Nick Littlemore. But was when she struck out on her own as Ladyhawke, named after the Richard Donner film, that Bloom finally found sustained success.
She shot to stardom in 2008 with the release of her 80s influenced self-titled debut album featuring the massive singles ‘My Delirium’, ‘Paris Is Burning’, ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ and more. The album won countless awards, including Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronic Album at the New Zealand Music Awards, while Ladyhawke picked up two ARIA awards for Breakthrough Artist – Album and Breakthrough Artist – Single for ‘My Delirium’.
In the years since her debut, Ladyhawke has toured the globe and released three more albums, her most recent being 2021s Time Flies. Although the release didn’t match the success of her debut, the record was widely praised by critics and marks her most mature work yet.
