After releasing a couple of tracks with country singer Zach Bryan, along with a live recording of ‘Atlantic City’ with Bruce Springsteen, Tennessee rockers Kings of Leon have returned with their first EP in over two decades.
EP#2 consists of four tracks and is the first release from the lads’ new album, Love Tap Records. All four tracks were self-produced by the band and combine the free-wheeling fun of their early albums with contemporary country and pop influences.
Longtime fans of Kings of Leon are sure to enjoy this release, with the highlight being the three-minute guitar rocker, ‘The Wolf’.
The release of EP#2 arrives as Kings of Leon prepare to end the year with two New Year’s Eve shows in Las Vegas, with the band playing The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort on December 30 and 31, 2025.
Debuting in 2003 with their critically acclaimed album Youth & Young Manhood, Kings of Leon have transformed from ‘60s influenced rock and rollers to pop superstars, selling out stadiums across the globe.
The quartet of Caleb (guitar/vocals), Nathan (drums), Jared (bass) and Matthew Followill (guitar) have released a total of nine albums, sold over 20 million records and close to 40 million singles worldwide.
The four-time Grammy Award winners’ most recent album, 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun, was another critical and commercial success, with EP#2 an intriguing look at where the band may be headed with their next record.
