Jill Scott Announces First Album in Over a Decade
Scott has also shared the album’s lead single, ‘Beautiful People’.

Acclaimed American singer, songwriter and actor Jill Scott returns to music in 2026 with her first album in 11 years.
After spending much of the last decade touring and acting, Scott’s sixth studio album will arrive on Friday 13 February and is available to pre-save here.
To Whom This May Concern follows 2015’s Woman and is preceded by the mesmerising lead single, ‘Beautiful People’, showcasing Scott’s immaculate vocals.
“Finally my new album entitled TO WHOM THIS MAY CONCERN drops Feb. 13th!!!!” Scott wrote on Instagram. “PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE and THANK YOU for your patience and your listening ears.”
The record includes collaborations with a host of talented artists and producers, with the likes of Ab-Soul, J.I.D., Tierra Whack, Too $hort, Om'Mas Keith, DJ Premier and Trombone Shorty involved in the making of To Whom This May Concern.
Three-time Grammy Award winner Jill Scott was discovered by The Roots’ Questlove and released her acclaimed debut album, Who Is Jill Scott?: Words and Sounds Vol. 1, way back in the year 2000.
The record was nominated for Best R&B Album at the 2001 Grammy Awards and helped kick-start Scott’s career. She has gone on to release four more albums, including two Billboard 200 #1s – The Light of the Sun (2011) and Woman (2015) – and tried her hand at acting, including a notable role in the sitcom First Wives Club.
