Regional music lovers are in for a treat with the announcement of the inaugural Tapped Festival – a celebration of bands, beer, bites and community coming to Mount Gambier this April.
Taking over Woolstore Brewery on Saturday 11 April, the festival brings together independent breweries from across the Limecoast region, alongside local food vendors, live music and family-friendly entertainment.
The musical entertainment is curated by Rock Lock Records, with local punk troublemakers Gernz headlining the talented lineup. The day also includes performances from The Short Sleeves, Fat Pony, Corduroy, Alison Newman and Snake Farm.
When it comes to the local producers involved, enjoy cold brews from Loophole Brewing Co, Noodledoof Brewing Co, Electric Brewing, and of course Woolstore Brewery, with bites from Bald Sheep, Southern Hotdogs, Happi Belli and more.
There’ll also be line dancing, kids’ entertainment and plenty more activities for all ages.
This family-inclusive, community-focused event runs from 12pm to 9pm, with tickets on sale now at simpletix.com.

Festival coordinator Kylie Ind said the idea behind Tapped Festival was to create an inclusive event celebrating the region’s vibrant food, drink, and music culture.
“Tapped is all about what brings people together,” Ind said. “Whether it’s tapping your feet to live music, enjoying a fresh beer straight from the tap, or simply spending time with friends and family - this festival is designed to celebrate those moments.”
The event has been designed with a strong community focus, offering a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere during the day, before building into a high-energy evening of live music.
“We wanted to create something that appeals to everyone - from beer lovers to families looking for a great day out,” Ina said. “There’ll be something for all ages, including games, entertainment and activities alongside the food and music.”
Tapped Festival is expected to attract visitors from across the Limestone Coast and beyond, providing a boost to local producers, businesses and tourism.
Tapped Festival takes place at Woolstore Brewery in Mount Gambier on Saturday 11 April. Tickets on sale now at simpletix.com.
