UK electronic act Hot Chip are reissuing their acclaimed second, third and fourth albums – The Warning, Made In The Dark and One Life Stand.
All three are being reissued this July and will be available on double gatefold vinyl for the first time, whilst the vinyl release of The Warning will feature the colour artwork for the first time as a new edition. Digitally, each album will be packaged with a second disk containing B-sides and rarities, several of which have never been previously released.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their sophomore record The Warning, Hot Chip have shared the previously unavailable B-side ‘Bally’. It’s a rather subdued, minimalist electronic number that allows Alexis Taylor’s trademark melancholy vocals to take centre stage.

All three albums represent special milestones in the careers of Joe Goddard, Alexis Taylor, Owen Clarke, Al Doyle and Felix Martin. Their trio of albums, 2006’s The Warning, 2008’s Made In the Dark and 2010’s One Life Stand, defined a decade indebted to the dancefloor and turned a generation of indie fans onto the hedonistic pleasure of repetitive beats.
Two decades on and Hot Chip are still at the top of their game, with their most recent album, 2022’s Freakout/Release, receiving high praise, with the group well known for their legendary live performances.
