UK Indie Outfit Mystery Jets Reveal New Album ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’

The album includes the singles ‘Black Sage’ and ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through I’.

Six years on since their last album, UK indie outfit Mystery Jets return in 2026 with their eighth studio album, A Hole To See The Sky Through, out Friday 21 August via Fiction Records.

Named after Yoko Ono’s minimalist artwork of the same name, the album cover features the original Ono-approved piece on the cover and includes the single ‘Black Sage’ and the just-released title track.

The nine-track A Hole To See The Sky Through was produced by Leo Abrahams (Regina Spektor, Paolo Nutini, Brian Eno) and marks the final album in Mystery Jets’ trilogy of records that includes 2016s Curve of the Earth and 2020s A Billion Heartbeats.

Emerging from the UK indie scene that took over the world in the early 2000s, Mystery Jets have always walked to the beat of their own drum.

Their 2006 debut record Making Dens was a critical success and led to a further six albums, a raft of EPs, the 2013 concert album Live at the Royal Festival Hall and shows alongside IDLES, Laura Marling, Kate Nash and more.
