Aussie electronic duo Hermitude are taking us back to the ‘90s with their rave-heavy single ‘Over You’.
Already a live favourite, with Hermitude having dropped the song during sets on Kindred Radio and festival floors at Astral People’s Day Party and Factory Summer, ‘Over You’ was crafted alongside mastering engineer Matt Colton (Aphex Twin, Tame Impala, Little Simz) and hints at the next phase in Hermitude’s evolution.
“‘Over You’ sparked early ‘90s rave energy and we dived into that world drawing on pivotal teenage inspiration from The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers,” Hermituted said in a statement.
One listen to the tune and you can easily identify The Prodigy influence, with ‘Over You’ a warehouse rave anthem that would feel right at home played nice and loud in Europe’s best dance clubs.
