Hail the Sun Announce Debut Australian TOur 2026

Cali post-hardcore beasts Hail the Sun have announced their first-ever headline tour of Australia.
After spending much of last year touring extensively across North America, the UK, Europe and South America, the five-piece’s upcoming Aussie jaunt arrives in support of their latest record, cut. turn. fade. back.
“The album touches on a lot of topics such as military atrocities, humanitarian crises, addiction and love being lost, as well as death,” says guitarist Aric Garcia.
“So many of those things are recurring, and as much as we'd like for things to change and be better and live in a perfect world, it's more that things seem to get better for a little bit and then take a turn - and before we know it, we're right back where we started.”
Joining Hail the Sun on the road are fellow American post-hardcore rockers The Fall of Troy and Melbourne prog-rockers Closure in Moscow.
The tour begins in Brisbane at Crowbar on Thursday 25 June, with dates following at Sydney’s Crowbar on Friday 26 June, Melbourne’s Howler on Saturday 27 June and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Sunday 28 June, with the final show at Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Tuesday 30 June.

Comprising lead vocalist Donovan Melero, guitarists Shane Gann and Aric Garcia, bassist John Stirrat and drummer Allen Casillas, Hail the Sun are known for their math rock meets post-hardcore sound that’s been serving them well since forming in 2009.
During the years, the band has dropped several well-received EPs and seven studio albums, with last year’s cut. turn. fade. back their most recent release.
Hail the Sun has toured with the likes of Silverstein, Circa Survive and I the Mighty and played festivals including South By So What?!, Horns Up Festival and Swanfest.
Their upcoming headline tour of Australia is sure to please longtime fans who never thought they’d get the chance to see Hail the Sun live.
