After AC/DC blew fans away with a phenomenal performance at the bp Adelaide Grand Final Sunday concert last year, organisers have once again delivered a suitable headliner for this year’s race, with powerhouse rock icons Guns N’ Roses taking to the stage to close out the motorsport event on Sunday 29 November.
One of the biggest names in the world of rock, Guns N’ Roses have been tearing up stages across the globe for more than 40 years. From the band’s landmark diamond-selling 1987 opus Appetite For Destruction to the one-two punch of the over 7x-platinum Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II records, the band have sold over 100 million albums and is one of the most-streamed rock bands in the world with an average of 27 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Having completed a massive run of dates across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America in 2025, the current lineup of Axl Rose (vocals, keyboards), Duff McKagan (bass), Slash (lead guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Richard Fortus (rhythm guitar), Isaac Carpenter (drums) and Melissa Reese (keyboard) will bring Paradise City to the City of Churches this November.
The announcement arrives as Guns N’ Roses continue an exciting new chapter with the release of two brand new singles – ‘Nothin’ and ‘Atlas’ – the band’s first taste of new music since 2023.
