Full Flower Moon Band Share New Single 'Endless Summer', Announce Fourth Album

Following 2024's acclaimed album Megaflower, spirited rock outfit Full Flower Moon Band have revealed that their fourth studio album, After Dark, is set for release on Friday 26 February 2027 via Impressed Recordings.

Led by the formidable Kate 'Babyshakes' Dillon, one of the great modern frontpeople, Full Flower Moon Band's After Dark was written during a single month in New York after Dillon was awarded Q Music's Grant McLennan Fellowship.

Alone in the city that never sleeps, Dillon looked inside, not for reflection, but to discover what direction she moves forward in with her career.

Not only have Full Flower Moon Band announced a new record, but they've also shared the first taste of what to expect in the form of the creeping anthem 'Endless Summer'.

"Endless Summer is the voice of a manic episode," says Dillon. "This hopeless, frantic optimism is summarised in the chorus lyric: 'You can have an endless summer, anytime the sun comes out'. What began as a simple instrumental track is now unleashed onto the world as an unnerving battle cry." 

The music video accompanying the track features black-and-white footage of Dillon in New York alongside Full Flower Moon Band performing live and snapshots of her performing as a child.

"It gives me the feeling of being nostalgic for something that happened only moments ago," Dillon says. "When life's highs and lows move so quickly, you end up feeling nothing at all. That emotional distance feels connected to the cynicism at the heart of the song."

Beginning life in Dillon's bedroom, Full Flower Moon Band have evolved into a dynamic five-piece ready for superstardom.

The band's critically acclaimed 2024 record Megaflower debuted at #1 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart and sold out its first vinyl pressing in a week.

Blowing up across the globe thanks to a slew of viral videos clocking millions of views, Full Flower Moon Band count the likes of Iggy Pop, Fred Durst, Jack Black and Sleaford Mods as fans, with the band really excelling in the live arena, with Dillon a force of nature with a mic in hand. "People comment that I'm a completely different person on stage," she says. "Well baby, it's a show. Let's go."
