Froth & Fury Fest 2027 First Lineup Announced

Adelaide's very own Froth & Fury Fest returns in 2027 with another stacked lineup led by Maryland riff kings Clutch and Australian heavy outfit Alpha Wolf.

Taking over Adelaide Showground on Saturday 30 January 2027, revellers can expect another chaotic day of metal, punk, hardcore, heavy rock and darksynth, all wrapped in Froth & Fury’s unique blend of festival culture, community and chaos.

Alongside the two big names at the top of the bill are Switzerland’s brutal beasts Paleface Swiss, darksynth destroyers Carpenter Brut, French visionary Igorrr, punk legends Propagandhi, hardcore heavies Counterparts, heavy rockers Corrosion of Conformity and powerful rock outfit C.O.C.

The first announcement also includes Death To All, Dark Angel, 28 Days, Truth Corroded, The Berzerker, Fox Lake, Sierra Veins, Wayside, Ratsalad and Racoon City, with more to be announced in the coming months.

Next year also sees the introduction of Froth & Fury's "New Breed" and "Path to Fury", two new initiatives open to South Australian artists that are supported by the Department of Premier and Government - CreateSA / Music Development Office (MDO), Carclew, Northern Sound System and ARMI (Australian Rock & Metal Institute.

The "New Breed" program is open to aspiring young musicians aged 10 to 18 years, giving them the chance to audition to win a cash prize and professional development support, while the "Path to Fury" is a battle of the bands competition with a series of heats, giving one lucky act the opportunity to open the Main Stage of the festival.

The team at Froth & Fury are excited to introduce these new initiatives to spotlight emerging talent and give them a path to success. Applications will open in August.

As with previous editions, fans can expect live-action alternative artists, an expanded Tattoo Parlour, a larger market area, food trucks and plenty more.
