Park Up is a new springtime hangout taking over the Adelaide CBD this October.
Supported by City of Adelaide and presented by Company Works, the folks behind open-air club Sanctuary, Park Up is a free after-work event that aims to encourage office workers and city dwellers to enjoy the city’s green spaces.
Held at Hindmarsh Square/Mukata on Friday 10, 17 and 24 October, Park Up merges vinyl, wines and good vibes.
Inspired by Europe’s park culture, a common tradition whereby people catch up and unwind with a few bevies in beautiful outdoor spaces, Park Up is the perfect starting point for a Friday night out with friends or a few quiet knockoffs after a hard day in the office.
Organisers want people who get along to Park Up to view the CBD in a new light and experience the lush, green inner-city spaces dotted about Adelaide.
DJs will provide the soundtrack to each event, with local producers serving up food, booze and alcohol-free beverages. Those who like a boogie can get down and dirty on the makeshift dancefloor before heading off for a night on the town.
