The album rollout for Foo Fighters’ twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy, out April 24 via Roswell Records/Columbia Records, continues with the release of their latest single, ‘Caught In The Echo’.
Following last year’s ‘Asking For A Friend’ and the ‘80s flavoured title track, ‘Caught In The Echo’ is classic Foos, with heavy riffs, punishing percussion and Dave Grohl’s familiar scream.
Foo Fighters’ new album was recorded at Grohl’s home and co-produced by Foo Fighters and Oliver Roman, engineered by Roman and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent. The record features ten tracks and arrives ahead of the band’s recently announced Australian and New Zealand tour.
The band have announced a nine-date stadium tour that will see Grohl and co performing all their biggest hits, including ‘Everlong’, ‘The Pretender’, ‘Learning To Fly’, ‘Monkey Wrench’ and more.
Joining the Foo’s on tour are a bunch of awesome special guests, including Full Flower Moon Band, The Belair Lip Bombs, Dick Move, Southern River Band and Adelaide’s own Kurralta Park.
Foo Fighters’ Take Cover Tour kicks off on Thursday 5 November 2026 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Heading home for the festive season, the Foos return in January for two shows in New Zealand at Christchurch’s One New Zealand Stadium on Tuesday 19 January 2027 and Auckland’s Western Springs Stadium on Friday 22 January 2027, before wrapping things up with a final blowout in Perth at HBF Park on Monday 25 January 2027.

Foo Fighters have been at the top of the rock and roll mountain for more than three decades. Formed by Grohl after the demise of Nirvana in the mid-90s, the band has since become arguably the biggest rock act on the planet.
The Foos have released 11 studio albums, eight of which topped the ARIA Album Charts, won 15 Grammy Awards and played the biggest stages and festivals across the globe.
Despite a rough few years with the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, Grohl’s extramarital activities and the hiring and firing of drummer John Freese, the Foo Fighters appear reenergised and ready for anything, with the current lineup of Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin excited to be performing in Australia and New Zealand later this year.
‘Caught In The Echo’ is out now. Listen here. Your Favorite Toy is out Friday 24 April. Pre-order here. Catch Foo Fighters performing at Coopers Stadium on Tuesday 17 November. Tickets on sale via frontiertouring.com.
