‘Falling Out of Love’ is the Latest Single From The Strokes’ Upcoming Seventh Album

Julian Casablancas love of Auto-Tune continues on The Strokes’ latest single, ‘Falling Out of Love’, taken from the New York outfit’s upcoming seventh studio album Reality Awaits, out Friday 26 June via Cult Records/RCA Records.
Following the playful first single ‘Going Shopping’, the band’s latest offering is a slow burn that sounds like something Daft Punk would be proud of.
Marking The Strokes’ first new album since 2020’s The New Abnormal, the band’s Reality Awaits was recorded in Costa Rica with producer Rick Rubin and finished in different studios across the world.

The release of ‘Falling Out of Love’ arrives after The Strokes killed it at Coachella 2026 and announced a massive global tour that sees them hit North America, the UK, Europe, South America and Japan.
Not only are they playing a stack of headline shows, but the band are set to perform at Primavera Sound Buenos Aires, São Paulo and Santiago, along with Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Japan’s Summer Sonic 2026 and more.
Hopefully, The Strokes add Australia to their touring schedule, as after seeing them perform at Harvest Rock 2025, we can attest to them being one hell of a live act.
