After wowing audiences on her headline Aussie tour earlier this year, rising indie folk pop enchantress Esha Tewari (pronounced ee-sha teh-wah-ri) is back with new single, ‘in twos’.
Taken from her upcoming EP What Makes A Girl, out December 5, ‘ in twos’ is a beautifully comforting song that’s quickly become a fan favourite after Tewari first premiered the song live during her North American tour earlier this year.
“‘in twos’ came from a place of trying to understand how relationships shape us—how they can feel effortless and impossible at the same time,” says Esha Tewari. “It’s the beginning of the story I tell on this EP, so releasing it first felt right.”
A demonstration of Tewari’s growth as an artist, ‘in twos’ gives punters a taste of what to expect from What Makes a Girl.
The release of ‘in twos’ coincides with Tewari supporting Sam Fender at his Adelaide and Perth shows this week, before she joins the Spilt Milk Festival lineup. Next year sees Tewari touring with Conan Grey, performing at all his Australian dates in September and October.
