American metalcore champions Better Lovers are touring Australia for the first time in 2026 in support of their debut album, Highly Irresponsible.
Having already announced UK nu-metal act Split Chain and Gold Coast DIY screamo heroes Blind Girls as the main support, the group have now revealed local supports from each state.
Yugambeh punk and hardcore collective Glitter Strip will open in Brisbane, Newcastle will see post-hardcore favs Tired Minds take to the stage first and Sydney fans will get to witness the energetic party vibes of Totally Unicorn. Melbourne audiences will be treated to the metallic hardcore group Gravitate and Belgrave crowds to post-metal titans Run, with the final show in Adelaide featuring the riff-tastic Hammer 618.

Arguably metalcore’s greatest supergroup, Better Lovers features The Dillinger Escape Plan’s former vocalist Greg Puciato, Every Time I Die members Jordan Buckley (guitar), Steve Micciche (bass) and Clayton Holyoak (drums) and Fit For An Autopsy guitarist Will Putney.
Founded in 2023 after the breakup of Every Time I Die, Better Lovers released their first EP, God Made Me an Animal, in 2023 and followed up a year later with their first album, Highly Irresponsible.
The five-piece has garnered millions of streams worldwide and shared stages with the likes of Aftershock, Furnace Fest and Graspop. Next year marks Better Lovers’ highly anticipated Australian tour, which is shaping up as one heavy lovers won’t want to miss.
